Concept 概念

When we think of ecology, we often think outside of our body. However, I am concerned about the interactive flows , actions/reactions, with our environment of nature externally, namely, ecology of human psyche internally, that is closely linked with spirituality, energy, intuitions/six sense, and the supernatural.

Thus the idea of “spiritual refugee” appears in the process in my work. It is a metaphor for humans losing the inner awareness of humanistic balance, thus destroy the outside environment and one another.

Female body is, since ancient times, the symbol of nature as well as the primordial power, able to make the invisible visible, connecting webs of life. So tapping into the goddess energy can help us to find the balance in chaos. Through melting the boundaries between performance, dance, actions, ritual, and interactive way, audiences walk closer to the outer nature for rethinking their own connections to inner nature of ecology.
